n a 1 tb @ 7200 hdd
system has no real files pics or anything on it
so i was wanting to chk all hardware

Jan 25, 2012 5:30 PM in response to lamuskratby baltwo,Start with the Apple Hardware Test program, running the extended tests at least twice. If that passes, then download and run Rember. If everything passes, boot with the Recovery HD (assuming new iMac has Lion) and repair the HD with Disk Utility. Those for starters.
