Q: new ipod nano 6th gen - swipe issues

We bought a brand new ipod nano which appeared to work perfectly until we put an album onto it from the itunes library.  After this the swipe function failed (went very slow and unresponsive). We've reset the ipod and tried different music but no change. Even after we took the music off the nano the problem remained. We took our last (new) ipod nano back because of this problem and had it replaced. However, the same fault occured with the new nano.

I also have a ipod classic which i have no problem uploading music to from itunes.
