I have the same problem, which prevents me from registering the Magic Mouse in my account.

I got a similar issue here. According to this Apple KB article, the serial numbers before Magic Mouse 2 should be printed inside their battery bay, I could never validate the 17-digit numbers of my mice at here.

Any suggestion please?
