I lost my Itouch a few days ago, it was stolen how can I track it down (with explicit instructions please 😟)? and also is there warranty for theft?

Did you installed the App find my iPhone on it ? and do you have a Mobile Me or iCloud account ?
You need both to locate your iPod (if it connects to WiFi)
The Apple warranty does not cover lossing the iPod. It is not a defect thatit was stolen.
If you had already set up the FIndmyIpod feature and wifi is on you may be able to find it by going to icloud/com, logging in and clicking on the FndMyiPhone icon. However, the find feature can be easily defeated by turning the iPod off .
Apple will not help
Report it to the police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPOd.
Thanks i tried but i didnt realize there was an app such as this until it was too late i thought since my apple ID was registered with the itouch i thought Apple would track it down if i reported it missing 😟 thanks for the help anyways
- For iOS 5 it is not an app, you set up the FIndMyiPod by going to Settings>iCloud>FindMyiPod
- For earlier you go to Settings>Mail>MobileMe and set it up via MobileMe. It was free for 4G iPod with iOS 4.2.1 or 4.3, I do not remember which.
