Canon PowerShot S95 or S100 good for Mac?

Wondering if anyone has had any experience, good or bad, with this camera on a MacBook or iMac with Snow Leopard. We need to buy one since our Sony DSC-P72 fell and broke.

Thanks for your kind help.

If you mean the connection of the camera to the Mac to download pictures you shoud have no problem. Both cameras will for sure be seen by the Macs as external disc. I have to say taht usually I prefer to take out the card ando copy the pictures from card to my Mac.

Than you can use iPhoto or other Software to organize and edit your photos on Mac and there will be no problem.

I do not know if this cameras also take raw. In that case also the raw files will be very probably seen by iPhoto or Aperture. Canon also supply its own software to manage pictures: it should be also a Mac version.

I had an S80... no problem.

I did🙂! I had bought a Panasonic because I couldn't find the Canon, but then we knew we could still get it and were glad to exchange it tonight😀. It will take 3 weeks to arrive, but that is okay. At last we will get our Canon PowerShot S95! The S100 is too expensive right now... better learn slowly and maybe later, in a couple of years, we can dive into somthing more advanced.
