Does anyone here have Avid Media Composer?

I have Avid Media Composer 6 for Mac and I'm having an issue. I'm getting an alert that says "Segmentation fault" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it???

*I've already tried Avid Communities and I haven't gotten a reasponse from anyone. And it cost's $199 for a single incident support code that will let me talk with a Avid Technical Support person.
