After inputing my password to update my apps on my iphone it says the following..."Cannot connect to iTunes store"

When I try to update my apps or download any app I enter my password then it says "cannot connect to iTunes store". Does anyone know why?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1

Try a Restart and a Reset... and try again...

Did you try the same on your computer? Can you log into your iTunes account on your computer?
