Setting up two synched Displays ?

I have the following setup:

Mac Mini mid 2010, Snow Leopard

two Displays connected (Philips and Samsung TVs) in seperate rooms.

--> therefore they have to be synched

Getting the mac mini to find the displays and the setting up the res was no problem (both 1080p obviously)

Here is the problem: I can't see the menu bar on both displays!

If I had only one display connected I would just use the underscan function. For some reason this seems to be disabled when two displays are connected and synced.

What can I do?
