Me too, today happend to me and is the first time I workout with my new nano, so I'm very dissapointed cos it was my first time ¬¬
Today happened to me 😟
I bought a nano for this feature and I'm having the same issue.
I just got a nano7 and used the "Walk" feature for part of my workout and it stored the information on the nano but when I connected it to iTunes, it told me I had one workout ready to be sent to Nike+. So I clicked "Send to Nike+" went to the website, signed up for an account and sync'd it again but now it won't even send the info to Nike+! So i just resorted to writing out the workout info on my calendar for the day. I wonder if this is a bug that the new iTunes (coming in Nov. now) will fix?? This Nike+ feature was part of the reason I got this new nano. I hope I don't need to go out and buy the nike sensor that came with the previous nano 6 to sync this stuff... ugh. Apple! don't do this to me please.
Looks like Nike active is currently being updated. Use the run app instead and see if that works.

Thanks for suggesting the run app. I tried that and it picked up my run-around-the house. I plugged into my iTunes afterwards and it sync'd up and put the info into my Nike + site. Hopefully when the new Itunes finally rolls out, they will have this all straightened out.
Has the issue been resolved that anyone knows of? I am having the same problem here, and this feature was the only reason I bought the ipod 😟. Hope there is a fix for this. There is no app for the nano that I could use to bypass this inconvenience. Thanks!
Tamaru, Are you saying you cannot sync using run app too?
im running it on an ipod nano 7th gen. is there a way to use an app on that? or would i have to use/buy more stuff?
From home screen go to fitness -> Run -> Choose any workout -> Start. You can go for a run and the app keeps track of your workout. You can then connect to iTunes to sync the workout to Nike website.
