Jan 27, 2012 3:27 PM in response to spillbsbby Jim Cookman,Personally I would remove the old version. I don't know what the new version is, but if it is studio 3, and you use livetype a lot, reinstall it. The functions got rolled into motion in v3

Jan 27, 2012 6:37 PM in response to spillbsbby David Harbsmeier,I'm with Jim on this. It always seems to work out better if you do not install over another version. You can use this app (freeware - thanks to Jon Chappel) to completely remove ALL Final Cut Studio apps and components: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/
Once that's done, install your newly purchased version.
