Q: iPod touch cannot be synced

When I plug my iPod touch (1st generation) in to my PC iTunes opens Sync starts and as it comes to the end of the sync I get a pop-up that reads " The iPod "Name" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-39)". When I check everything has been synced ok. This has only started since the last iTunes update.

This happens to me sometimes (i have a 4th gen) and I just make a change to the settings or delete/ buy an app etc and then try to re sync it hope that helps!!

I am sorry, I didn't make my self clear. my iPod touch does sync even though iTunes popup tells me it cannot be synced.
My question is why do I get this popup.

Tried the link, the suggestion for error -39 is a for a problem when you are downloading music. I get the pop up when I am syncing, it pops up as the sync comes to the end.
