I purchased a new car that allows you to upload your IPOD music files to the cars hard drive through a uab connection. It doesnt work and wonder if my IPOD is configured wrong?

No. There is no configuration setting on the iPod to facilitate it. Are you sure that the car system is compativle with your mdel iPod and its iOS?
