How do you pair iPhone to new computer without losing data?

I recently bought a desktop computer and would like to sync my iphone to that computer instead of my laptop. Is there any way to do this without losing playlists, app data, and text messages? My saved texts are my main concern. I would like for my message threads to remain on my phone, keep all current settings, calendar reminders, etc.
