Boxer & VNC

I want to play DOS games on my iPad2. I have Boxer on my Mac (10.7) and thought I could use Screen Sharing on the Mac and Mocha VNC on the iPad to play. While the DOS game appears on my iPad, I can't play it... the VNC client only registers my finger motions as mouse movements in the Mac OS, but won't register then as mouse movements within the Boxer game window (I hope that makes sense).

Any thoughts?
