I sneezed--how to clean the monitor screen?

It's not as bad as it sounds. But I can see a residue of small moisture droplets on the screen.

What's the best way to clean this?

Yes. That's excellent. But make sure it's clean and as dust free as possible. Don't rub too hard with the Q tip. Just enough to get the area sufficiently moist. The black square will take care of the rest.

When finished, wash the microfiber cloth in a mild detergent with warm water and rinse very thoroughly.

Don't use anything except water. Use a dampened Q tip -- but not so wet it will start running when you touch the screen -- in the affected area. Then finish up with a clean, dry micofiber cloth, the kind that comes with eye glasses. If you have two of these, you can replace the Q tip with one that's dampened. Might need to repeat this sequence several times.

If it's a large area, work in small sections.
