Feb 5, 2012 4:25 AM in response to kephraby da_vide78,i've been having the same problem.
Unknowing what the problem is, i tried resetting my passwords - no fix. I reinstalled the OSX which worked for a few days then failed again. And now, i cant run software update because that also now doesn't accept my admin password.
Did you find a resolution for your issue??

Feb 5, 2012 5:59 AM in response to da_vide78by kephra,Yes, I found the answer.
First check if it is loaded.... mine was not.
sudo launchctl list | grep -q com.apple.servermgrd && echo loaded || echo not loaded
Then do:
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.servermgrd.plist
This fixed my system.
I found the answer at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3960

Feb 5, 2012 12:54 PM in response to kephraby da_vide78,Thanks man... Really appreciate it.. but NO!
Unfortunately again, i get an error message saying
"couldnt stat (/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist) No such file or directory. nothing found to load."
I somehow think its to do with my root keychain. Logging into the admin profile is fine - Logging into server.app seems ok because i get an error message saying im not running the right version, but trying to unlock to make changes to profiles or whenit asks me for admin password, it doesn't recognise it.

Feb 5, 2012 4:03 PM in response to kephraby da_vide78,No worries.
So tonight I messed around with the key chains and deleted any old chains, then did the reset password process again. I did it thinking a new chain will set up automatically - no. I was wrong and now I can't login as the administrator. fail.
So, I've restored the OSX again! See what happens tomorrow.
