If I close and start Safari again, it starts with factory setting again; does not remeber history, bookmarks, startpage or any setting I had made before...

I checked the permissions: they are for everyone write and read...

Your advise would be great appreciated!

Thanks.

    Safari preferences may be corrupted...

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file  (preferences)

    Go to ~/Library/Preferences

Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.

    Quit, relaunch Safari to test.

If that helped, move the .plist file to the Trash, If not, just move it back to the Preferences folder.

And since you are running Lion, disable the Lion "resume" feature...

    Open System Preferences > General

Deselect:  Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps

Launch the Terminal application by entering the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Drag or copy -- do not type -- the following line into the window, then press return:

    ls -Oel Library/Safari

Post any lines of output that appear below what you entered -- the text, please, not a screenshot.

    Thank you Carolyn, Linc,

I think the whole account is damaged: even if I change my Stickies (starts up at login), it appears not changed after restart... (but Firefox does work!)

I made a new user, fortinately it has no problem...

But I am still curious what happened to that first user...

    Carolyn, it didn't help, sorry.

Linc: here are the lines from terminal:

Boot from your recovery partition by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

When the recovery desktop appears, select Utilities > Terminal from the menu bar.

In the Terminal window, enter “resetpassword” (without the quotes) and press return. A “Reset Password” window opens.

Select your boot volume if not already selected.

Select your username from the menu labeled “Select the user account” if not already selected.

Under “Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs”, click the “Reset” button.

Select Apple menu > Restart from the menu bar.
