Can you access your iMessages online using Apple ID info?

My friend has recently disabled his iMessage, so I can only send him SMS now, and when I asked him why, he said it was coz he'd shared Apple ID p/w with a couple of friends at work (in order to share the cost of buying an application) and was now paranoid that they would be able to log into his 'account' and see all his iMessages, so he has disabled it to prevent any further use? I told him to change his p/w, but he's not done so yet. TBH, I susect he's telling porkies, but thats another story! lol

I've logged onto my own iCloud account via my laptop, and I cant see anything related to viewing my iMessages or SMS mssgs online. They dont appear to be stored there at all. Is it possibe to view your messages online or not?

I have the 4S and he has the previous model

No.

If he has shared his iTunes account password with these friends at work, this guy is not too bright. His friends can purchase/download anything with his iTunes account - music, movies, tv shows, books, and apps.

They can also have access to his iMessages on their iOS device running iOS 5 or later with his Apple ID/iTunes account since iMessages can be synced between multiple iOS devices. An iMessage I send with my iPhone 4S is also available in the Message app on my iPad 2, and vice-versa.
