whenever I try to arrow over from February 2012 to March 2012 nothing happens. then when I press the arrow again, it jumps to April 2012 and skips March. what can i do?

i have trashed iCal and reinstalled using the Snow Leopard disk and the problem still exists. i can't plan March! please help or i will just have to take a one month vacation!!!!

What happens if you make a new user account on the computer and try iCal in the new account?

ok, first i should tell you that before i posted the original thread, i had trashed all ical preferences and caches. i even trashed iCal and reinstalled it using the Snow Leopard disk.
i created a new user and everything seemed to work fine. UNTIL... i put in my mobile me account and synced my calendar. the events began coming in, even for March, but then all at once all of the events in March disappeared. I arrowed back to February and then tried to go back to March and it skipped it again. so i believe i have a mobile me problem. any ideas?
That it happened on the new account only after you added your MoblieMe data would suggest it is something to do with the calendar data on your MobileMe account, probably a corrupted event.
I would backup your MobileMe calendars and then restore from the saved calendars. See: MobileMe: How to back up calendar data using MobileMe Calendar

everything looks great when i go to www.me.com. if i back up the calendars and then restore them, won't i just be putting the same calendars back? if i have a corrupted event it seems that event would still be there when i restore the calendars.
The export and import does error checking on the data. In my opinion it is worth doing.
Have you tried unchecking all your calendars and going into March with only one checked at a time? You may then find the calendars that are affecting iCal.
How many events are there in March when you look on me.com?

ok, then i will try that.
i have 7 calendars with lots of events in march. they all show up at me.com but nothing shows up on the ical.
ok, i noticed as i was importing from mobile me that it was putting events back in from the calendars top to bottom. everything was coming back and then disappeared after the first 5 calendars. so i just deleted the bottom 2 calendars (thankfully i didn't have many events in them) and now everything works. thanks for your help.
