How do I uninstall and reinstall safari 5.1.2? 2011 MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.2

I seem to have been hijacked by ad tracker crap. Safari is acting quite strange; i.e., there seems to be a lot of certificate rejections and very often a particular bookmark will show up as "access denied". On occasion when opened, it will go somewhere completely off the wall. Many times "facebook.com" shows up in the address, but that's not where it has gone. I realize I'm doing a pretty bad job of describing all this, but I'm at my wit's end... My theory is that removing it all together and then reinstalling a fresh copy might solve these hijackings. Thanks, mkcos

Yes, apparently it's the second and third one's that may be the problem. I found a reference to those particular addresses, but didn't really find an explanation for them other than their being bad. Should/could I just delete them? They come up as being assigned to earthlink.net (which I do use), but they don't seem to want to take ownership...

Well, then this is not the avenue to pursue? While those two were associated with earthlink, they were nonetheless regarded with suspicion as having something to do with ad tracker stuff. Unfortunately, all the refernces I found seemed to require more technical knowledge than my feeble mind can assimilate. What would happen if I did delete them, assuming that's even possible? At this point then, can I assume that the problem I'm having is not coming from Safari itself at all? Sorry to keep throwing the questions. Kevin

It's a Linksys, pretty new... Here is the only other number I could find that seemed related: 192.168.1.103. Alternately, I do have a brand new AirPort Extreme... Would it be worth connecting it, pulling the Linksys and seeing if the problems go away? I'm really at a loss to solve this stuff and it's just ruining my "internet experience".
