Midi and Asio drivers with new mac ox lion!!!

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5, which comes with Mac OX 10.7.2 Lion to work (I thought) with the Numark NS6 and other midi devices. I have all updated drivers and software but still without midi and asio.Supposedly, with a new Mac OX everything should work even better but is clearly much worse than the x snow leopard (taking into account the appreciation of many mac users) ... I have visited some forums and discussions on the solution to this problem are quite daunting, even by the support of the Mac??

When where the drivers etc made? OS X 10.7 (Lion) drops support for PowerPC emulation which a lot of older software relies on. It is possible that the hardware and software you are trying to use simply will not work under Lion for that reason.

Seems to be a common problem with the Numark products.

Thanks for the explanation Kujako. So, this means while the numark does not resolve the issue of drivers for the lion, all Numark devices are useless. The only solution for now is downgrade to Leopard or wait for new drives by numark. What a beautiful mess ... disappointed with the numark and with this new Mac ox Lion! Thanks again.
