Can't share via wifi on apple tv

I have just brought Apple TV, connect it up and updated via wifi. I am trying to share with iTunes on a windows xp pc, but will not work. So plugged an Ethernet lead into my hub & it works. So why on the same network but via wifi does it not work? Also my iPad 2 & iPhone 4s (both with IOS 5) do not show the airplay mirror button.

It NOW works! My VirginMedia (Netgear) super hub was setup to Wpa auto, which allow apple tv onto the Internet but didn't let it share. So set up to Wpa and rebooted everything and it all works now.

Thanks for the tips from Apple at Bluewater, Kent.

Tips which helped are;-

1. Apple tv needs 802.11n , if it's not "n" it will not steam or be seen by iPhone or iPad mirror.

2. If you use a lower speed wireless connection from some other pc on network, it lowers the speed of the wireless hub

3. Turn off all wireless security, and get it going bit by bit.

4. Always reboot hub & apple tv after a change
