AirLink USB 2.0 Printer Server
I purchased a AirLink USB 2.0 Print Server (APSUSB211) to connect between my Canon Bubble Jet S600 USB printer and the Linksys Wireless Broadband Router (WRT54G). The installer CD that came with the package did not work in my Apple iBook Mac OSX v.10.3.9 with Airport Extreme Card installed. I used the browser to configure the print server. I followed the on screen instructions. When I did the Print Test, the reply message said print test is O.K. but there was no test paper coming out the printer. The printer was power on and I made sure all the cables are securely connected. I followed the owner manual on “Printing in Mac OS” with using Rendezvous in the Print Center. The printer is not responded to the AirLink print server. It printed only when I reconnected the USB printing cable to the computer. The AirLink website said the Canon S600 USB printer is compatible with the printer server. I restarted my computer several times but it still did not work. Is there anybody had the same problem with the AirLink Print Server?
