Q: pictures from internet won't copy & paste

I copy and paste a lot of recipes from the internet and save them on my computer. I used to be able to do this and all the pictures would be copied as well. Since Lion, the pictures don't show up, just a picture of a paper. Any help?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

In order to avoid problems, I either save the entire page as a .pdf or, if it is a smaller image/portion, I simply do a screenshot (Command + Shift + 4) - the cursor will change and you can choose which are to copy.
