Q: QuickTime Player Problem with iWeb v3.0.4 and Safari v5.1.2

iWeb v3.0.4 published web site with Safari v5.1.2:

I'm in the process of creating a web site (www.koinonia.com) using iWeb v3.0.4.  There is an inserted QuickTime element on the home page which is playing an mp3 music file.  The QuickTime player (Show movie controller option in iWeb) does not work with Safari v5.1.2 (but does work fine with Firefox v9.0.1).  There should be a Movie Controller below the album jpeg image, but is not there with Safari.  Also, the movie (mp3 audio file) does not play automatically (plays fine with Firefox).  This looks to be a bug with Apple's iWeb / Safari applications.

Does anyone know how to get the QuickTime element to play with Safari v5.1.2?

Thanks

Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Why are you responding to a post that is 3 years old?  If you want help, then start a new thread/topic.

Also, how do you expect OT to check a web page for you when you have not provided any kind of link?

Also, there is no iWeb for iPad - only for MacBook and iMac - also iWeb is not a supported product and has not been sold or supported for over 2 years now.

If you want help, then start a new topic and provide a proper link and consider changing from iWeb to another programme that is supported and current.

Excuse me, I have not been explicit. The pages of my site open very well with my ipad ios8 air and often very wrong with my macbook snow leopard. But this problem applies only to videos on these pages. These are small videos, 640/330 pixels, 20 megas, H264. Mov.

With the macbook I have Quicktime logo...  and nothing. Ipad air while normally. Why? That was my question. But I understand that it is better to open another thread about this. Thank you

The QuickTime files take a while to download but work for me in 10.10.1.

    thanks QuicktimeKirk.

I'm still in brazil and I would like to continue my website. But if I do not have control of videos on my macbook snow leopard, it may become difficult. I need to find the reason for the malfunction. I 5.1.10 Safari, QuickTime 7 and 10.
