it's already on. Lion requires 64-bit archecture. If you are running Lion, you are running in 64 bit.

yes, ok but in the info panel don' t show me a 64 bit kernel on? why?
sldr2.....I was under the impression that the MacBook does not run under 64 bit.....my System Profiler says No to 64 bit kernel and extensions being enabled....
the MacBook Pro does.....
