Hi - Since I am having the same problem, I hope I can cut in and answer your questions. I am trying to update my Mac OS X desktop computer from version 10.6.8 to 10.7.2. I want to do this because my computer is not syncing since changing from Mobile Me to ICloud. When I try to sync it, it tries to "register computer with ICloud" with the perpetual spinning circle. It's unbelievably frustrating. Please help!

PS The "mobile me" icon is still showing in system preferences; it has not changed to the cloud icon. When i click on it, it just says that my Mobile Me account has been upgraded to icloud.

I'm downloading Lion now. Why isn't it more clear that Lion is the only system that supports ICloud? It's rediculous how much time I spent on this issue only to find out that my relitively new Mac doesn't support icloud!!
