Hello, I have studio 3 installed and am trying to launch FCP 7. It used to work just fine. No when I click to launch the application it bounces up and down in the doc, the application title shows and appears to be initializing but then it just closes with no message. I am on OS 10.7.2, I am attaching the related console report concerning the occurence. I hope someone can help. thanks.
Assuming my eyesight is reasonably normal I don't think you'll get many replies concerning the Console report.
Can I suggest you start off by trashing the preferences using this free app and letting us know whether it helps

Right click, open in new tab to embiggen. It's no longer in Moonspeak.

Normally I simply click and the picture assumes full size.
This time it didn't . . . . it was clear but microscopic.
Following your instructions I again got a microscopic view but there was an enlargement icon available.

and I tried this and still no luck...
It appears that you also have Motion 5 and presumably FCP X installed on your computer.
These apps should be in a separate folder from Final Cut studio.

After trashing preferences you'll need to launch Motion 4 and then close it to make that message disappear. After doing this I would recommend backing up the preferences in Preference Manager so you can simply restore the backup next time things go wrong instead of trashing.
