Disk utilities, Permissions Unrepairable. 10.6.8

Well, a few days ago, I figured I would do a disk utilites check-up.

My H-D is fine, but when I checked permissions, a large amount of them were incorrect. So, I repaired them, using the "repair permissions".

However, after repairing, I checked again, and it showed them as still "broken", or incorrect.

Is this serious, and how can I fix it?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

No. Just ignore them; any use of verify permissions and more than one use of repair permissions per problem you experience is a waste of time.

First, make sure that the messages you're seeing really are an indication of an error. See:
