Is Protools 8.0 compatible with OSX 10.6.8 on my 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 Macbook Pro? I installled it, it starts to launch, and then always unexpectedly quits.

i have been running pro tools 8.1 HD on a macpro running osx 10.6.8 i did run pro tools 8 le on a macbook pro on 10.6.8 for 2 years before upgrading to pro tools 10 it ran fine with no problems
