My 24" iMac (2.4GHGz Intel Core 2 Duo) running OS 10.6.8 with 4 GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM, is running out of RAM with no applications open. Activity Monitor shows I have 470 MB Free, 270 MB Wired, 2.43 Active, 902MB Inactive and 3.53 GB Used. What is happening?
