how do i move margins out in pages?

You're right- The blue arrow doesn't allow you to move the margin out. But if you click on the ruler just above the arrows (there are several small dots there), you can move the margins outwards, towards the edge of the page. It might sound confusing, and it's really something I would have to show you, but the screenshots I took didn't show where my mouse was. It's the very small area directly above the blue indicator. Click and drag there, and you can move the margins out.
