If the settings are correct then there is no reason why your email should not deliver.
Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release] and try again.

I've been having this problem ever since i downloaded I cloud. All the settings are correct. The setting are exactly the same as my iPhone and I have no problem with getting messages on my iPhone. I've double and triple checked the settings and everything is right. I've tried doing a hard reset and that doesn't help either.

I am not giving a solution but adding to the problem! My IPhone & IPad have both got the same email account (BT) they have all the same settings. The iPhone sends & receives mail perfectly well but now for some reason the iPad will not send mail?? It still receives mail.
I have tried master resets and re-installing account settings. Nothing works!!
Can anyone help please?
