Feb 2, 2012 7:48 AM in response to albert421by brsw,Is there any pattern to those who have run into this problem? Last night I thought everyone had the problem and am surprised to learn that it works for most.
I did not have any issues downloading.
I do not have any external devices attached or special drivers installed.
My affected system is a late 2011 MacBook air running 10.7.2.
I did the install from an account that is not an administrator.
What else could be pertinent or remotely related to this problem?

Feb 2, 2012 8:35 AM in response to albert421by David Bendau,On my 2008 iMac the update appears to work fine. I did a Repair Disk Permissions immediately after the update and there were two permissions that needed to be repaired as I remember. I just ran Repair Disk Permissions again and nothing needed to be repaired. I used Software Update to download 10.7.3.

Feb 2, 2012 9:26 AM in response to Camel_PLby Scorpo,Special thanks to Camel_PL. I really freaked when this happened to me as I am about to travel (and time machine takes 10+hours to restore).
Then I found your thread and followed your steps. I am back in the game!!
Apple should really step up here. In the meantime, I'm really glad that Camel_PL did.

Feb 2, 2012 10:05 AM in response to albert421by kent909,Scanned through most of the posts on this and did not see an what I am looking for. Went to Software Update this morning and it came up as no updates available. I then went to the App store and it showed an Update available. I started the update and it says the file size is >4GB.
People here are talking about getting the Combo from the Apple website or the Software Update. Does no one else use the App store? Is anyone having the problem with the update from the App store?

Feb 2, 2012 11:07 AM in response to albert421by Klaatu1947,I have installed the 10.7.3 update on my iMac without problem. I have been using the Lion OSx since the day of its initial release as well as the first two maintenance releases, so far, I have not encountered any problems.
