Can I just delete render files?

Rather than using the Render Manager I'd like to just go into my Render Files folder and start deleting the project names files and their content. I'd use the render manager but it would require opening FCP and because I'm moving drives and computers around right now that's not convenient. I assume that once all my drives are reconnected and I restart FCP, those project files will be recreated when I start rendering. Is that correct?

TIA,

Pete

Make sure you're not deleting fcp project files. Render files and folders containing just render files can be deleted.
