Itunes match and iphone storage space?

if my music is in the "cloud" now, why does it still take up the bulk of my iphone 32gig capacity?

Because iTunes Match does not delete the music that is already on your iPhone. Based on the question, I think you'll avoid a lot of problems with Match in the future if you take a little time to read up on how iTunes Match works. Here are a couple of links that will get you started.

iTunes Match uses my memory on my devices,How can i clear the cache memory without turning Match on and off(its the only way at the moment)

in Google Play Music you have the option to save it to cache or not,is Apple planning to add that excellent feature to Match?????
