10.7.3 no wifi connection after wakeup

Since 10.7.3 update, I have to manually reconnect to my WiFi network at every Wakeup from sleep.

It WILL try to connect by itself, but it will quit trying after 6-8 seconds.

The WiFi icon in the menu bar will then remain gray until I click on it and manually choose my WiFi network.

It DOES reconnect automatically upon Restart, though.

My WiFi network comes from a third generation Time Capsule, with the most recent updates applied.

Had no such problem yesterday in 10.7.2.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2), Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3

go to system 'preferences/energy saver' and check 'allow power button to put the computer to sleep'-

then press power button to put computer to sleep and then press power button to wake computer from sleep

No need to do that anymore...

There is a fix from Apple today for the Sleep problem on iMacs.

click the apple in the top left and click Software Update.. there is an update for this as of today.. mine seems to be working fine after i installed it... I will keep ya updated.

The fix is only for iMacs. I also did a software update - no help! Internet takes time to connect. Not only that it keeps gettign disconnected in every 5 minutes! Annoying ... please do something about it!

I have applied the latest update and the fix has indeed worked for my imac. However, I seem to be getting more instances of "lost connection" with the Bluetooth mouse now after waking up from Sleep. Has anybody else noticed this after the update??? I think they have fixed one thing and broken something else.

The update fixed the problem for me. No more wifi problems after waking from sleep.

I am having the bluetooth mouse problem, but this started yesterday - before this update. Is it related to that other recent update (the only other one this week)? Something about EFI?

The Bluetooth issue for me started immediately after loading the update for the WiFi and before taking the update for EFI. The EFI fix can not be responsible for this.

Honestly, these people couldn't manage a drink in a brewery. How hard is it to test this rubbish before they deliver it. It's like being back at work for me.

I have mid-2010 iMac and after dedicated fix, Wi-Fi still loses connection, not only after wake-up but also during browsing!

One unpleasant development with the update: no wifi connection after a restart. So, it will automatically re-connect after waking from sleep, but I have to manually connect after a restart. Not a big deal, and definitely the better than the converse, but it means there are still problems to fix.

Update worked for a few days and now it's back to normal, no wifi on waking up from sleep and sometimes it dies whilst I'm using the machine. Not impressed, going to take it back to the store and waste half a day.
