Video download did not complete

Video download did not complete

I purchased a TV show on Friday night, but my laptop locked up and I had to shut it down before the download was complete. Part of the file is on my computer, but it is corrupted and I get an error message when I try to either access or "Check for Purchases". How do I re-download?

Go look for a folder called "Downloads" in your iTunes Music folder. If there is such a folder, look for files that would be the partial download and delete those, so that the download starts over from the beginning. Then try again using the "Check for Purchases" command under the iTunes Advanced menu.

I'm glad I came across your answer - it helped me fix an error I was getting (-50) when a purchase I made didn't competely download. Keeping fingers crossed it finishes this time.
