Q: apache update

Apahce just updated again two days ago, When will Apple update this? It is getting very hard to stay PCI Compliante

when apple seems to be months behinde on there updates, It was never this way a few years ago. Does anyone

have a good step by step instustions on compliing apahce on OSX Server just as apple does.

    Running 10.6.8 server and upgraded to Apache to 2.2.27 using the config settings provided by TAHNHS, but needed to add "-with-included-apr" to prevent configure error: APR version 1.2.0 or later is required. Otherwise the instructions are spot-on. Thanks!

    I'm having trouble with Apache 2.2.27 installing. Can you post the entire configuration you used? Did you have to modify the httpd.conf file after installation?

    Can't get Apache 2.4 to run the LIIP OSX php so I need the 2.2.27.
