How many cpu in my iMac 3.2 GHz Core i3

Can you tell How many cpu in my iMac 3.2 GHz Core i3?

Setting up Parallels Desktop I can select how many CPU I want to use in configiration window.

My iMac has 8 GB Ram.

My accounting software, QuickBooks running on Windows 7 over Parallels Desktop virtual machine is not responding very fast.

2GB was allowed to Parallels Desktop, now I'm trying 4 GB but I aslos have the option of number of CPU.

Does mi iMac Core i3 hacve only 1 cpu or more???

The Core I3 has 2 cores.

As far as Windows 7 performance problems go maybe if you install Boot Camp and then run Windows 7 by booting to it the performance should be better.

really old thread, but I just picked up one of these used iMacs and am perplexed by the way Activity Monitor displays the CPU activity, it has 4 history plots. My trusty old MacBook Core2Duo shows just two CPU history plots. Why does the i3 display 4 unique CPU history tracks for a two-core i3 CPU? Strange.
