I can't find any place in iTunes Connect to change the content/desciption/etc of my iBook once it is published. I need to also reupload a revision to fix some of the issues of the book and add some media files.
How do I do these things? Please help!

You can only edit 'publishing' details. This isn't like apps where you fix bugs and ship an update.

I got so many "Import Error" when I published that I decided to do a scale down version of the book without bells and whistles. I hope to get it up first and update later - and now it cannot be done?
There must be a way to revise the book... isn't this what eBook is all about?

You can update books but only when it comes to typos. You can't re-format or re-structure or re-write a book. If you do that, you need to submit under a new ISBN with a 2nd edition.
To update, you should be able to just go through iTP again.
Also you can't add any kind of URL or site address in your description, it's against the TOS.
Can I add media files but not restructure or rewrite the book?
This is a free book, so it has no ISBN number, can I revised it?
If I can't revise it, how do I do a 2nd revision?

I just did that - go through iTP, get back the meta data via Vendor ID (it seems that this is related to book, not vendor? Shouldn't this be book ID?), then drag the new iBooks in, and publish!

The ISBN "law" is a tad grey, so if ibooks has a problem with it they would let you know. Generally the fixes that are allowed are typos. Adding media I'm not sure about, but you'll find out eventually.
I just learned that Vendor ID is the "ISBN" for free book, so now it all makes a lot of sense.
So far iTP does not seem to care about what I uploaded, so if there is any restriction it should come from a reviewer, the machine has let me through.
Apple never send letter to me, I wonder how will I know it is approved or rejected, replaced or shown as another book.
If apple has a problem due to complaints they will open a ticket within your iTunes Connect account. You probably will get an email too.
So if I go through successfully I won't get a status update or email from Apple. Strange. 🙂
The App Store team seems to do a better job.
My resubmission of the new iBook work. I tried delivered yesterday and today the new book is out!
Redelivered the content will indeed work. I just update my own work with corrections and videos added.
