Help with Vista on Mac!

Hello all,

I'm trying to get Vista to run on my Mac. I have recently updated my Mac to Lion and everything is up to date. I have a copy of Windows Vista, including the actual instalation DVD. I started to instal windows via bootcamp and all was running fine until Vista would not let me choose the Hard Drive partition I created. It gave a warning message that said the hard drive was not formated properly (I think it said it needed to be NTSF? or something along those lines). Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to rectify this problem? Thanks!!
