When is apple going to fix the ios5 rotating picture problem??

This is SOO frustrating! After waiting on hold with an apple supervisor about the issue with pictures NOT wanting to rotate when downloaded to the computer, the ONLY thing he could ultimately think of to do was open EVERY picture in PAINT, rotate it, and then save.. This takes FOREVER!? Does anyone else have this problem? Or atelast a solution? It just says that there is an error with the picture properties and it can't be saved. And, I checked to make sure that it wasn't read only and it's fine!
