Im pretty sure my iphone 4 isnt jailbroken as I purchased it brand new. If you restore your iphone to factory settings does that automatically wiped any spyware that may have been on there?

Not sure what you're refering to by 'spyware'.. But a restore should wipe just about everything.

Spyware as in someone installing a program on your phone to intercept any phone calls, txt msgs and web viewing. Haven't you heard of this?
Uhm. No.. I believe you are being a tad bit paranoid, if you want a COMPLETE restore you'll have to enter DFU mode and choose upgrade/restore in itunes after you've entered that mode.

Not on a legit iphone.
I think you have been watching too much TV. The vast majority of the things they do there are totally impossible in real life.

If the phone was jailbroken it is subject to spyware, but it is not so you are safe.

I did not mean it that way. I just meant that unless a psychotic ex-girlfriend or a soon-to-be-ex-wife was in my life, I have few fears.
