itunes store only downloaded half a song

Check that your dowload has been completed, and isn't partly completed.

and then its worth right mouse clicking on the song, then click on the "Get info" on the drop down menu.

Along the top menu, click on "options" and then check on the start time and stop time.

Ensure this is correct, and if not change this.

This happened to me. What you need to do is move the song and any backups to the recycle bin. Then go to Itunes store and click 'Purchased' under Quick Links. Go to the song you want and there will be a cloud next to it. Click it and it will redownload. It should download the full song this time.

This happened to me yesterday when I bought a Volbeat album and again today when my brother bought a Rise Against album. I hope Apple fixes this. I just read about a question like this from back in 2007, so it's been going on for a while.

Thanks for help! I've had to do it 4-5 times for two songs, but finally at least 1 of the songs finally played all the way through! I will try it again with the second song.

I wonder if it has to do with the album/artist. It's two songs from the Exciter album from Depeche Mode. What's funny is I bought another song from another album last Friday, with no problem.
