There is a user manual both in the box the MBP came from and on the hard drive. But it really doesn't cover using the MBP or what you need to know when switching from PC to Mac.
For that you should look into get a good book on Macs. Sorry don't have any suggestions.
If you were fairly proficient on Windows you will be on a Mac but Mac's are not easier to use. They are just different then PCs in some ways, and then they are the same in others.
If you could describe what problems you are having that would go a long way to help you.
NOTE: The one big difference between the systems is in Windows when you clicked the X in the upper righthand corner of the program the Program actually closes. On Mac when you click the X in the upper lefthand corner of a window you are not closing the program. All you are doing is closing that window, the peogram stays running in the background. You have to actually close the program by hitting the Command+Q keys (while the program is active and its name is in the menu bar even if there is no windows open for it) or go to the Program name in the menu bar and select Quit Programname.
In addition to what is posted above, check Help menu from Finder and Applications Menubar.
In addition to all posted stop down to your local book store. David Pogue writes some teriffic books on the Mac. Also get a subscription to Macworld and/or get their weekly email hints.
This is pretty much the best book to get you going:
