how do I view contacts in yahoo mail?

How do I view my contacts in my yahoo mail account on my Ipad?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi

If you created your Yahoo account with the iPad's Mail app using the Yahoo account preset, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Select your Yahoo account. Is Contacts turned on for over the air syncing?

yes, contacts is turned on, but when I use the Ipad mail program I can't figure out how to view/update the contacts.

Try the Contacts app, where contacts are available.
