Cannot send mail to AOL

I am having exactly the same problem. It almost seems like AOL has tagged me as a spammer. I send out an email to about 20 folks with an attachment PDF and a link about once a week.

I reiterate the request. How do we fix this?

554 RLY:B1

This error message is a dynamic block on our system. Dynamic blocks are placed on an IP address when the IP's statistics break our threshold. These are automated blocks that are removed by the system within 24 hours once the complaints are again below the threshold.

So my question is, complaints? what complaints? How do I clear these up?

Ditto here. Using a me.com/icloud mail account and mail is being rejected to most aol address' and I believe this is only recently. And I have NOT sent any bulk messages. Any ideas on how to resolve this? I know I am not marked as spam as the accounts are my daughters and sisters.....thanks.

That's funny, but I too still have my aol account. I don't know why really. I have had it for like 25 years. I also still use mac and pc via parallels desktop as I have programs at work that only run on pc. But back to the original email problem, it seems that it is an aol issue but I can't seem to fix it. I am the admin of the aol accounts and have gone in to the prefs and can't seem to find anything. I also was sending an attachemet, but then tried to simply send an email without one and it still got the rejection. Funny thing is that sometimes the rejection is immediate and other times it takes hours to come back to me as a rejection. I get the same rejection from my iphone to their address'...I wonder if the problem will just resolve itself after 24 hours.....

I am getting a similar rejection of email to AOL account holders. Whether from my .mac address, or my business email address. Here is the info:

Reason: Illegal host/domain name found

Just die already AOL.....

I think the key is in the error message [RLY:B1] B1 indicates a temporary block that supposedly comes from too many recipients marking email from you as SPAM. The temporary block is supposed to be cleared in 24 hours. But mine didn't clear.

Sounds like I need to get all of my friends to get off of AOL!

I work in a small photo studio and I need to send emails to people with AOL accounts. I sent 4 emails yesterday, one to AOL. Today I sent 2 emails to AOL accounts and got blocked!

What the ****? I've already got phone calls from both of these people askink where their promissed emails are. Who do I complain too? I do I tell are clients that they are stupid for using a crappy email service? Meanwhile my boss thinks I'm an idiot because I use a Mac and not a PC 😟

Isn't there something I can do besides waiting for a 24 hour block by some unknown complainer???
