I made a very simple 3D figure in Strata Design 3D SE, and exported it to the Collada-format (.DAE.) Ibooks Author just refuses it - no explanation why. A pitty, 'cause the combination looked great. Anybody the same experience, or a sollution maybe?

seems that the Collada-export from Strata only works with one single shape on the board. The moment you have more than one shape, the Strata-collada-export won't work anymore.They seem to be looking into it. Because the Google sketch collada export works with more than one, I think this is a Strata problem. We'll see.

At this time, the Strata Design 3D CX Collada export is only allowing you to possibly use one object, as you bring it into iBooks Author. However we have found the problem and expect to release a patch or update soon.

Is Strata 3D SE a cost efficient way to create 3D images for iBooks Author without obtaining a master in computer science(!!!!), meaning easy to use also.
