I'm getting REALLY tired of iPhoto 9.2.1 crashing EVERY time that I try to download stills and videos. I've been taking my memory cards to a store and paying to have them download to a CD, but that costs $ every time, and they don't download videos. A program called Cardraider helps with the stills, but still will not do videos.
PLEASE, what can I do to remedy this for good?

I will do that the next time that it happens.
Until then, I may have stumbled upon a solution:
I purchased software called "Cardraider" for $20. Using it, I downloaded all stills and videos to my documents folder, disconnected the camera, then transferred them to iPhoto and it worked. Maybe having the camera connected to the computer with iPhoto in session was the problem.
Well that's one way to do it. Of course you could have saved $20 and used Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) to do that.
